I love horse riding. Horse riding is something that I am really good at. I go down Stepney Bank Stables everyday, I go with my grandad and my cousin and my mum on Saturdays. When I go with my grandad and my cousin, we watch the horses and on Saturdays, I ride the horses. The reason why I go to Stepney Bank Stables is because my cousin and I go on a car ride everyday except Sundays, and my cousin (Steven) asks to go to the stables
I can’t wait to go today and on Saturday!!!😊
on Thursday 9th June 2016 half (16) of year 5SW went horse riding at Stepney Bank Stables. When we got there we were an hour late so we went to the closest field next to Ouseburn farm to waste time until 1:30 when the session started. Firstly, when the session started we got on our boots that they supplied us with and we got fitted for helmets that they also supplied. When it really started we got split in half so it would have been 8 in each group – the first group that I was in got to ride a horse I rode Bea a lovely black horse and I was led by Kate Beas’ leader. Once we were finished we switched so me and my half got to do grooming while the other group did horse riding. I got to groom Hurbry a beautiful chestnut colour.
On Thursday 24th June 2016 chosen people got to go back to Stepney Bank Stables but this time we went in got our helmet and boots on then we got split in groups there was: the blue group, the red group and the rainbow group and of course I was in the rainbow group. The horse my group got put with was Chester a lovely chestnut colour he was led by a woman called Amy. In this session we had different stations to do my group started leading our partner to a chosen part of the horse’s body. But my favourite station had to be jumping a hurdle with Chester we did a running start to jump over the hurdle.
I love blogging because I like to share things on the blog to get feedback… also I love blogging because it is so fun! I love reading other peoples blogs because it makes you wonder ( if someone has went somewhere in the holidays), ” Well that sounds fun, lets read some more!” If I still remember my password, I will blog on this website and make a blog post, when I am older to see if anything is new. I loved blogging about things we learned about… I also blog at home. You can get a blog certificate in assembly, which is really exciting I have about 2-3 blog certificates at home in my collection. I love blogging and I will never hate it…

Trinidad and Tobago is a dual-island Caribbean nation and it is right next to Venezuela. All of the popular food they have are: curry; jerk chicken; creole lunch; barbecued pigtails; coconut water and curried crab dumplings.
The Trinidad and Tobago “scorpion” pepper had been officially ranked as the hottest pepper known to man. Ooh scary! Trinidad and Tobago was the place where the famous steel pan drum was made, which is still used today. The republic of Trinidad and Tobago is also known as a twin country which is also situated off the Northern edges of South America.
On Tuesday 14th of June 2016, all of the school was sent to the gym to find out who our teacher was for September. I was really excited to find out who our teacher was. Some of my class thought it was Miss Shaw, but it turns out that… Miss Sweeney is going to be our year 6 teacher (also Mr Thacker is going to be our teacher assistant). Mrs Pace and Mrs Brice are going to be our teacher assistants too! I really want to focus on fractions because I don’t really understand fractions that well. My top 10 favourite things about year 5 have been: Ice-skating, Lazer Quazer, Horse riding, World Book Day, Art (especially Pop Art), Plays, Learning about South America, Playing on IPads, Fruit Stall and Especially Blogging. I will miss being in year 5 because it was so fun !
I went horse riding and it was GREAT.
We were too early so we found a nice spot to sit on.
I could not wait to see what horse I have to ride. I got a horse called Willow and she was great.
We were all walking then we started to do trotting.
When we were done, we got to clean the horse and there hooves.
The horses were nice and I liked willow. Her fur was really soft.
They don’t run too fast the colour of the horse and the other horse were good.
I lifted up there hooves and I got to clean the hooves and there was lost of muck in them.
We went back to school I couldn’t wait to tell my head teacher.
I can’t wait to go back to see the horse again willow was the best horse in the world!
Last Thursday, half of our class went to Stepney Bank Stables to know more about horses. Excitedly, we had to scrub the horses and we were asking questions about horses. After that, we went to another room to ride the horses. Unfortunately, it was difficult to climb on. When I got some help to climb onto the horse, I was really scared because it was high. When we were riding the horse, the woman told the horse to go really fast and it was bumpy.

On Thursday 9 June, 16 people went horse riding. I was so excited when we started our long trip to the horse stables. When we got there we were so early so we found a place to rest (we played games, which were really competitive). After that, we did a shopping list for the beach. I was hoping for the white one but I got a different one we went trotting. After, we did some more things like: grooming and cleaning there hooves. I want to go back and see Chester it was fun.
